Terms and conditions

Drivers must be at least twenty-five (25) years old and hold a valid driver’s license issued by their country of residence, which they must have held for a minimum of two (2) years. You acknowledge and agree that we may verify the validity and standing of your license, and we reserve the right to decline your rental if your license has been suspended, revoked, restricted in any way, or if your driving record does not meet our requirements.

We also reserve the right to refuse rental based on information received from the Motor Vehicle Department of the jurisdiction that issued your license regarding your license status or driving history.

You are responsible for any damage to or loss of the vehicle, including loss of use during repairs, reduction in value due to damage or repairs, missing equipment, and any administrative costs we incur as a result—regardless of fault—unless otherwise limited by law.

You must report all accidents, theft, or vandalism to the police immediately upon discovery. Additionally, all such incidents involving the vehicle must be reported to our office without delay.

Strict No Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the vehicle. Violating this policy may result in the immediate forfeiture of the security deposit, up to a maximum of $250.

Cleaning and Condition Policy
If the vehicle is returned in an excessively unclean condition, a cleaning fee of $75 will be charged to the credit card on file. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Excessive beach sand
   
• Excessive trash or garbage
   
• Water damage to seats
   
• Any form of internal or external vandalism
   
• Strong, persistent odors (e.g., fish water)
   

By hiring the vehicle, you agree to these terms and authorize any applicable charges.

For prepaid bookings made through our website or at Trendy, the following cancellation terms apply:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time: You will receive a full refund, minus a $75 cancellation fee.
   
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time: You will receive a full refund, minus a $100 cancellation fee.
   
• If the refund amount is less than the applicable cancellation fee, no refund will be issued.
   

You agree to operate the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with this agreement. Any coverage provided to you will be void if any of the following actions occur:

1. The vehicle is operated by someone not authorized under this agreement.
    
2. You violate any terms of this agreement while driving the vehicle.
    
3. You drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substances that impair your ability to drive.
    
4. You operate the vehicle recklessly, including but not limited to:
    
   • Driving off regularly maintained roads,
      
   • Transporting hazardous or explosive materials,
      
   • Carrying hazardous waste,
      
   • Exceeding the vehicle’s payload capacity,
      
   • Driving in areas with inadequate clearance, or
      
   • Improperly loading the vehicle.
      

1. You transport more passengers than there are seat belts, or allow passengers to ride outside the designated passenger area.
    
2. You use the vehicle for any illegal activity or to assist in any activity that violates laws, rules, or regulations.
    
3. You use the vehicle to transport people or goods for compensation.
    
4. You participate in or facilitate any race, speed contest, or similar event using the vehicle.
    
5. You use the vehicle to tow or push another vehicle, trailer, or object.
    
6. The vehicle is operated by someone who used false or misleading information to obtain it.
    
7. You operate the vehicle outside the islands of New Providence and Paradise Island.
    
8. You leave the vehicle unattended without removing the keys or securing all doors, windows, and the trunk, and it is subsequently stolen.
